TRANSCRIPT:

Now, if you turn to this, we’re going to say it, more or less, from the New King James. You’ll find it’s addressed to people. It says, what does it say? Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God. But we make it personal. And so we say, we humble ourselves. You understand, it’s our way of saying, we believe the Word, we take it seriously, we apply it to our lives. So God helping us, and I feel the need of help at this moment, we’ll say it.

Therefore we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt us in due time. Having cast all our care. I think we’d better start again. My problem is, I’ve known all these scriptures in the Old King James Version and sometimes the two compete. Alright.

1 Peter 5:6-11: Therefore we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt us in due time, having cast all our care upon Him, for He cares for us. We are sober, we are vigilant, because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. We resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by our brotherhood in the world. But the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after we have suffered a while, will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you. Now in these evening meetings we’ve been dealing with the theme of the end time or the last days.
